A tall, spreading, deciduous perennial with bronze-flushed, mid-green leaves divided into three ovate to lance-shaped leaflets and panicles of bright pink flowers in midsummer. Prefers shade to partial shade and moist, fertile soil. Adequate moisture is very important.
