A compact, upright, deciduous shrub with ovate to elliptic, tapered, purple-flushed, dark grey-green leaves turning yellow in autumn and cymes of white flowers in late summer followed by glossy, bright purple-pink fruit.
Height 1.5m (5ft), Spread 1.2m (4ft), 5-10 years to maturity.
