A compact, clump-forming, deciduous perennial with lance-shaped, pointed, toothed, aromatic, dark green leaves and erect stems bearing dense, whorled clusters of tubular, two-lipped, dark magenta to reddish-purple flowers from midsummer into autumn.
Height & Spread 30cm (1ft), 2-5 years to maturity.
