An upright, bushy, deciduous shrub with ovate, pointed, veined, mid-green leaves and, from midsummer into autumn, large, conical panicles of green buds opening to fragrant, white flowers, flushed pink with age.
Height 1.2m (4ft), Spread 75cm (2.5ft), 5-10 years to maturity.
