A clump-forming, evergreen perennial with thick, rounded to heart-shaped, dark green leaves, flushed purple in winter. Sturdy, upright, red stems bear cymes of bell-shaped, magenta flowers in spring.
Height 60cm (2ft), Spread 75cm (2.5ft), 2-5 years to matrurity.
