A compact, mound-forming, herbaceous perennial with small, hairy, aromatic, toothed, grey-green leaves and, from early summer to early autumn, numerous, erect spikes of blue flowers with dark purple calyces.
Height 50cm (1.5ft), Spread 75cm (2.5ft), 2-5 years to maturity.
