Pepper 'Scotch Bonnet Red' (Chilli Pepper)
|
|
One of the hottest chillies in the world, the Scotch Bonnet will blow your socks off with its unique flavour and incredible heat. Originally from Jamaica, these little cousins to the habanero pack a punch at 100,000-400,000 SHU (most jalapeño peppers are between 2,500 to 8,000) and have an absolutely amazing flavour - if you can stand the heat. Each chilli plant produces quite a quantity of fruit throughout the summer. The fruits themselves can be used green, orange, or red.
