A vigorous, arching, medium-sized semi-evergreen shrub with dark glossy green leaves which are sometimes borne in threes or even fours on vigorous shoots. Flowers slightly fragrant, white tinged pale pink, borne over a long period from July to October or later followed by attractive pink-tinged sepals. Native to East Asia and Mexico. Best in full sun.
Height 3m (10ft), Spread 4m (13ft), 5-10 years to maturity.
