A compact, dense, rounded, deciduous shrub with erect stems bearing ovate, toothed, golden-yellow leaves in spring, turning yellow-green in summer, and yellow-orange in autumn. Flattened clusters of pink flowers bloom from late spring to midsummer.
Height 1m (3ft), Spread 1.2m (4ft), 5-10 years to maturity.
