Prunus 'Umineko' (Flowering Cherry)

 

A deciduous tree with simple, single white cupped flowers during spring. They are enhanced by noticeable golden stamens. It gives good autumn colour as well, turning red and orange shades before losing it's leaves. It is a compact tree with an upright growth habit, good for use in areas where space is limited.
Height 8m (26ft), Spread 4m (13ft), 10-20 years to maturity.
