Left to its own devices this makes a round headed tree. The leaves are lance shaped, coloured unsurprisingly olive-green and silvery on their underside. There are small panicles of fragrant white flowers in summer and these are followed by olives, green at first and ripening to black.
Height & Spread 10m (33ft), 10-20 years to maturity.
