Malus domestica 'Charles Ross' (Dessert Apple) [Group 3]

Product of a cross between the enormous 'Peasgood's Nonsuch' and 'Cox's Orange Pippin'. Enormous, round apples - polished and evenly shaped, ripening in September to October. Exceedingly juicy. Does very well on chalky soils. Self-fertile.
