An evergreen, bushy, dense shrub with stout, green shoots. The large, glossy, dark green leaves are boldly spotted and blotched with gold. Small, purplish flowers in mid-spring are followed with red berries. The best golden variegated Aucuba. Prefers full sun and well drained soil. Frost hardy. Male.
Height & Spread 2.5m (8ft), 10-20 years to maturity.
