Ribes rubrum 'White Versailles' (White Currant)

 

A vigorous, upright, deciduous, fruiting shrub with green leaves and many side shoots, making it good for training against a wall or fence. Heavy crops of pale yellow, sweet berries that are ripe in mid-summer. Excellent for freezing and wine-making. Plant in fertile soil, 1.2m (4ft) apart, cutting all stems back halfway.
Height & Spread 1.5m (5ft), 5-10 years to maturity.
