A beautiful, tall, slender, deciduous tree with white peeling bark, this variety has delicate, conical leaves that are tinted gold in autumn. Yellow-brown male catkins in early spring. This is best planted alone or with a group of others of its kind.
Height 12m (39ft), Spread 5m (16ft), 20-50 years to maturity.
