A mat forming, evergreen, perennial with branching, fleshy stems bearing terminal rosettes of brittle, spoon-shaped, silvery, reddish purple-flushed, mid-green leaves and flat clusters of short-stemmed, star-shaped, bright yellow flowers in summer.
Height 10cm (4in), Spread 30cm (1ft), 2-5 years to maturity.
