Agapanthus 'His Majesty' (African Lily)

A clump-forming, half-hardy, deciduous perennial with strap-shaped, mid- to dark green leaves, and, in summer, sturdy, erect stems bearing rounded umbels of trumpet-shaped, purple-blue flowers with a darker stripe down the centre of each petal.
Height 1.2m (4ft), Spread 1m (3ft), 2-5 years to maturity.
