A compact, bulbous perennial with purple-marked, lance-shaped, grey-green leaves and, in early spring, single, bowl-shaped, rose-pink flowers with wide, pale pink margins and red-marked, yellow bases. Height 20cm (8in), Spread 10cm (4in), 1-2 years to maturity.
