A late, mild bittersweet cider apple with deep red stripes over green skin, producing a sweet, astringent juice. Vigorous trees crop well, though often biennially, and are ready to harvest in mid-autumn. Requires a group 3, 4 or 5 pollinator. One of the main commercial cider cultivars.
