A compact, tufted, cormous perennial bearing linear, dark green leaves, each with a silvery, central stripe and, in late winter and early spring, fragrant, goblet-shaped, white flowers, usually flushed purple at the base.
Height 10cm (4in), Spread 5cm (2in), 1-2 years to maturity.
