A bulbous perennial with upright, linear to lance-shaped, dark grey-green leaves and sturdy stems bearing erect racemes of strongly fragrant, star-shaped, reddish-pink flowers in early to mid-spring.
Height 30cm (1ft), Spread 10cm (4in), 2-5 years to maturity.
