A mound-forming, deciduous to semi-evergreen perennial with pinnate, hairy, scalloped and toothed, mid-green basal leaves and, from late spring into summer, slender, wiry stems bearing semi-double, saucer-shaped, yellow flowers with maroon calyces.
Height 50cm (1.5ft), Spread 60cm (2ft), 2-5 years to maturity.
