A compact, upright, thicket-forming, deciduous shrub with erect stems bearing pinnate, yellow-green to bright green leaflets, heavily flushed pink, red and bronze in spring and turning red in autumn. Erect, terminal panicles of white flowers bloom in mid- to late summer.
