A bushy, semi-evergreen perennial with lance-shaped, mid-green leaves and, from midsummer into autumn, upright racemes of small, tubular, dark purple flowers with white mottled throats. Height 75cm (2.5ft), Spread 60cm (2ft), 2-5 years to maturity.
