An upright, rounded, thorny, deciduous tree with glossy green leaves which is smothered with tiny white fragrant flowers in late spring followed by masses of red berries in autumn making it a popular tree for birds.
Height 8m (26ft), Spread 6m (20ft), 20-50 years to maturity.
