A compact, mound-forming, semi-evergreen to evergreen perennial bearing rounded, shallowly lobed, silvery, glossy, rich, deep purple leaves, darker at the veins, and slender, upright stems bearing panicles of tiny, star-shaped, creamy-white flowers from late spring into summer.
