A robust, summer-dormant, bulbous perennial with strap-shaped, rich green leaves and, in autumn, usually before the leaves emerge, erect stems bearing open clusters of funnel-shaped, pink flowers.
Height 50cm (1.5ft), Spread 10cm (4in), 2-5 years to maturity.
