A low, cushion- to mound-forming, evergreen perennial with flat sprays of bright green leaves and, in spring, short stems bear upward-facing, cup-shaped, carmine-red flowers with yellow centres.
Height 10cm (4in), Spread 30cm (1ft), 2-5 years to maturity.
