Rubus 'Medana' (Tayberry)

 

A vigorous, trailing or arching, deciduous shrub with stout, thorny stems bearing pinnate leaves divided into three ovate, toothed, mid-green leaflets. White flowers in spring are followed by high yields of large, edible, reddish-purple fruit ready for harvest from midsummer into autumn.
Height & Spread 2m (6ft), 2-5 years to maturity.
