Parthenocissus quinquefolia (Virginia Creeper)

 

A vigorous, self-clinging climber with five-pointed, deeply divided, mid-green leaves which turn brilliant shades of crimson-red in autumn. Unsuitable for small gardens. Requires support before it begins to cling.
Height 15m (49ft), Spread 8m (26ft), 5-10 years to maturity.
